I started out as a child. My father gave me my first camera when I was seven and I got to process my own film a year or so later. This was a long time ago. The Blue Marsh photographs were shot between 1974 and 1975 when the Blue Marsh Dam was being built by the US Corps of Engineers. At the time I lived only a few minutes away.
